We now know the exact release date of Civilization 7 thanks to an unintentional reveal made by Nintendo Switch‘s eShop. Part 1 of the Crossroads of the World Collection is due to arrive on March 4th, 2025. Part 2 will follow on the 25th of March 2025. The dates are perfectly aligned with those previously stated launch windows “early march” and “late mars.”

On March 4, the Crossroads of the World Collection will be released. It features Carthage as a strong civilization of the Ancient Era and Great Britain representing an important force of the Modern Era. Ada Lovelace is a pioneering figure that joins other leaders in the game, offering unique strategies. Part 2 launches on the 25th of March, with Nepal, a diverse geographical nation, and Bulgaria in its Balkans rich history. Simón Bolívar, the influential South American leader, will also be added to the leader roster, presenting players with fresh perspectives and leadership styles within Civilization 7.
Carthage’s roots are firmly in Antiquity and Great Britain is at the forefront of Modernity, but the specific periods for Bulgaria and Nepal present intriguing possibilities. Bulgaria with its historic empire in the Medieval era could be an excellent contender for the Exploration Age. Nepal experienced significant expansionism in the Modern Age. This included notable conflicts such as the Anglo-Nepalese War with the British Empire. It is therefore a strong contender for the Exploration Age.
The Crossroads of the World Collection will include new leaders and civilizations. It also includes captivating natural wonders. Leader-specific mementos are included to improve the historical immersion of the game. There are cosmetic improvements to customize your civilization.
The Crossroads of the World Collection is already included in the Deluxe and Founders Editions of Civilization 7. This means you can access all of the new exciting content at no additional charge. If you own the standard Edition, it will be released as DLC.
