Hendrick Motorsports announced their intention to appeal against the disqualification for No. Parker Kligerman’s 75 Chevrolet Silverado was disqualified after the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Fresh From Florida 25 race held at Daytona International Speedway. This controversial disqualification was made after a post race inspection revealed an infraction of the rules related to ride-height.
Parker Kligerman appeared to have won his fourth NASCAR Truck Series title at Daytona Superspeedway. NASCAR officials, however determined that rear ride height was too low on both sides of the truck No. Both sides of the 75 truck were too low. This violated strict NASCAR vehicle specification regulations. These rules exist to maintain fair competition by preventing teams from unfairly gaining aerodynamic advantages.
Corey Heim won the race after Kligerman was disqualified. He had originally placed second. In his 65th race, Heim won the 12th Truck Series of his career. But the win came in an unusual circumstance, which left the driver’s team with a bittersweet feeling.

Corey Heim acknowledged the unique circumstances surrounding his win in a post-race media conference. It’s the first time I have experienced this type of situation, in any case. Heim expressed his happiness at being on the “right side” of this situation. Further, he expressed sympathies for Kligerman, his team and their excellent performance at the race. Parker and the guys are going to be disappointed. “They seemed to have put themselves into the perfect position for winning the race at just the right moment, but obviously, there’s a different level of it afterwards.”
Parker Kligerman’s emotions were heightened before he learned of the disqualification. “Daytona Regan, come on! Let’s go! He exclaimed, “This is the biggest win in my whole life.” These guys made an incredible truck. It’s unbelievable that we’re even here. Kligerman expressed that the apparent victory was special to him because he loves Daytona International Speedway, racing and Daytona International Speedway.
Hendrick Motorsports is still unsure of the outcome of its appeal. Before making a decision about the Fresh From Florida 250, NASCAR officials are going to review all the arguments and evidence presented.
