Leon Edwards Seeks Redemption: Rematch with Belal Muhammad After UFC London

Leon Edwards, former UFC Welterweight Champion is plotting his way back to his title. His desire to exact revenge on his most recent loss has fueled his journey. Edwards, who is well-known for his strategic style and resilience, wants to take back his place at the top.

Edwards was defeated by Belal Muhammad in the UFC 304 event held last October at Manchester. The Birmingham native has now focused solely on getting a rematch against “Remember The Name” in order to reverse the outcome of a future fight.

On March 22, “Rocky Edwards” will headline UFC London, facing Australian Jack Della Maddalena. The anticipated matchup could prove pivotal in the welterweight category.

A victory by either fighter can have a significant impact on the overall title race. Jack Della Maddalena enters the fight with an impressive 17-fight victory streak. Edwards knows that a win will be crucial to his chances of gaining a shot at the title and, eventually, facing Belal Muhammad again.

Edwards said: “Right away, Jack is number one, and he has the fight.”
