According to Gracie Abrams this “gnarly illness” has affected her over the last seven days. Medical professionals warned her to avoid performing because it would harm her recovery and health. In her present condition, she knew that her fans would not receive the show they deserve. Abrams said she understood the inconvenience that the cancellation caused, particularly when considering travel plans and the planning required by those who attended the concert. Abrams assured that she is working hard to reschedule the concert in Brussels.

She explained, “My body is fighting something nasty for the last week and, despite everything I have done to contain it, I am now at a stage where I can no longer perform. I need to take a break.” At this moment, I am unable to give you the performance you deserve. This breaks my hearts because of all the traveling and planning you do for our performances.

In closing, the “I love you, I’m sorry” singer expressed her gratitude to her fans for their unwavering loyalty and support during these difficult times. She reiterated that she loves her audience, and is committed to making amends.
